Software Update - 4th April 2025

On Friday 4th April, we updated AML HQ with a number of enhancements.  If you have any new features that you would like added, please contact one of our team directly or send an email to support@amlhq.com.

A summary of the key enhancements added in this release are as follows:

  1. Advanced screening capabilities have been added with the inclusion of adverse media, insolvency register, disqualified directors and other data sources to our PEP/Sanctions screening service.
  2. You can now link PEP/Sanction screening results across multiple client files (in the same way that you could previously link ID/Proof of Address documents).
  3. We have made enhancements to the Client Party Details screen and the Identity Verification Certificate.
  4. When creating a new Client from an existing Associated Party, you now have the option of adding multiple Associated Parties to the new client file.  This is a convenient feature if you have a corporate client where you also act for the directors/beneficial owners in their private capacity.  If the individuals happen to be joint assessed individuals, you can create a single file and carry across all of their information in a few clicks.
  5. We have removed the year of birth from the PEP/Sanctions check.  This modification has been made to broaden the search and to ensure that you don't miss any potential positive matches.
  6. You can now directly upload / update the Proof of Address document collected as part of an Advanced Identity Verification. (previously this was only possible for the Standard Identity Verification).
  7. We have improved how we display custom logo's on generated documents / certificates and on the external client facing screens.

NOTE: After a software update, we recommend that you clear your browser cache so that you receive the new updates.

Keep reading for further information on the above enhancements or if you would like a client tour or demo of these new features, please get in touch with our team (support@amlhq.com).

(1) Advanced screening capabilities

We have extended our screening services and we now offer you the ability to screen clients across the follow new datasets:

  1. Adverse Media / Reputational Risk Exposure dataset
  2. Regulatory Enforcement Lists
  3. Profiles of Interest dataset
  4. Disqualified Directors dataset
  5. Insolvency Register

The screening service is provided as an optional add-on to your subscription.  The current PEP/Sanction screening service costs €0.50 (0.1 Credit) for each individual.  If you want to include the above datasets in a screening search, it will cost an additional €0.50 (0.1 Credit).  You can decide to include the advanced datasets on a per individual basis. The service can be initiated from within the Client Onboard Wizard, from the Associated Parties table or from within the Client Details Page.

(2) Linking PEP/Sanction Screening Results

We have added the ability to link PEP/Sanction screening results across multiple client files in the same way that we currently allow you to link Identity Verification sessions.  When you initiate a PEP/Sanction screening request you now have option to link to an existing search result, as opposed to having to run a new search.  This will save time/money when you have an individual who is an officer or owner across multiple client files.

(3) Enhancements to the Client Party Details Screen

We have made a number of enhancements to the Client Party Details screen and the Identity Verification Certificate that can be exported from AML HQ. Within the Client Party Details Screen we have made the following changes:

  1. Added key data (DOB and Address) to the header section
  2. Established clear seperation between the current and approved Client Party Information (Name, DOB) and information that may have come from other sources (ID Documents, Client, CRO/RBO etc.)
  3. Added clear sections for Identity verification, PEP/Sanction Screening checks
  4. Improved the options controls and navigation
  5. Improved access to upload external identity reports
  6. Enhanced the Identity Certificate that can be exported as a PDF.  This report will now also include PEP/Sanctions screening results and Person Verification checks if they have been completed.

(4) Create new Client File from multiple Associated Parties

From the Client Details page you have always been able to create a new Client File from one of the associated parties.  This is a handy feature when a Director is also a client in a private capacity (e.g. Income Tax return).  One of our clients requested that we update this feature so that it would pull through more than one associated party.  This new features allows you to create a new file with more than one individual - this is particularly useful when there are joint assessed individuals within the same company.

You can access this feature via the OPTIONS button within the Associated Parties table of the Client Details page.

The system will now allow you to select more than one or more associated parties for inclusion within the new client file.
